Dr. Nicholas Jize is a San Diego native. He attended Poway High School and completed his undergraduate degree at San Diego State University, where he majored in Biology.
Dr. Jize received his dental degree from the Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC in Los Angeles. Upon graduation, he was awarded the Charles M. and Shirley Goldstein Endowed Community Service Award for his service with the Mobile Clinic and La Maestra Community Health Center. He completed his post-graduate specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Maryland, Baltimore.
After graduation Dr. Jize moved back to San Diego to practice dentistry and volunteers as a clinical assistant professor at USC and continues to attend Mobile Clinics.
Dr. Jize is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and The San Diego County Dental Society.
Dr. Jize and his wife have two children. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Jize enjoys spending time outdoors, snowboarding, skateboarding, rock climbing and is an avid Crossfitter.
